Job Summary:
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing a sales and marketing territory, primarily focusing on profit growth and the expansion of the Company’s product offerings.

Essential Job Functions:
- Establish strong relationships with current and prospective customers through personal interactions and phone communications, ensuring the effective management of plan take-offs, bids, quotes, and inquiries.
- Create and deliver precise sales proposals and quotes to both prospective and existing customers.
- Engage with customers to identify and comprehend their business needs, recommending suitable products and services accordingly.
- Maintain regular communication with existing and former customers, informing them about new products, services, and enhancements that may interest them.
- Stay updated on account receivables status and assist clients with payment and collections.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; promptly address any issues that arise.
- Conduct job-site visits to guarantee timely delivery and completion of orders.
- Research and provide accurate material and pricing information to customers, along with technical details regarding applications and specifications.
- Coordinate all deliveries and credit pickups with the yard dispatcher.
- Ensure all projects achieve the appropriate profit margins in line with company standards.
- Keep detailed records of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor-related issues.
- Proactively generate new customer leads.
- Stay informed about current product developments in the industry.
- Communicate relevant information regarding competition, market conditions, and customer requirements.
- Provide periodic forecasts for territory sales.
- Develop processes to track the progress of customer projects and monitor their advancement.
- Attend trade association events, representing the company as requested (e.g., HBA, NARI).
