The Role
As an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be pivotal in generating new business opportunities for Bloomerang. Your responsibilities will include identifying, engaging with, and qualifying potential nonprofit customers who may not yet be seeking a new solution. You will create demand among key decision-makers and arrange qualified meetings for our Account Executives. This position demands resilience, creativity, and the ability to maintain focus despite challenges. Success hinges on your ability to excel in a dynamic environment, think strategically, and personalize your outreach. What You Will Do
- Master Bloomerang’s Product & Value: Become proficient in how Bloomerang’s fundraising, donor, and volunteer management solutions empower nonprofits to fulfill their missions. You will need to effectively communicate this value to busy decision-makers.
- Prospect & Engage: Connect with potential clients through research and strategic engagement via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and personalized outreach.
- Generate Pipeline: Develop and maintain a 90-day rolling pipeline of high-quality meetings from the ground up, using innovative and strategic outreach to warm leads and convert them into qualified meetings.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Account Executive team to strategically build a pipeline that leads to closed deals. Collaborate to identify high-potential accounts, refine outreach strategies, and ensure smooth transitions of qualified opportunities that contribute to real business growth.
