Impact
The OSP Engineer II plays a pivotal role in the design and support of outside plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure. This position involves engineering copper and fiber network facilities while ensuring that designs comply with company standards, industry regulations, and project budgets. The engineer will facilitate the successful delivery of telecom services, including Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), Copper DSL, Metro-E Ethernet, TDM, SONET, and other fiber solutions.
This role significantly contributes to the reliability and expansion of telecom networks by preparing detailed engineering plans, conducting field measurements, coordinating with municipalities and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with operational, financial, and regulatory requirements.
