The Operations Specialist in Procurement plays a crucial role in supporting innovative initiatives and driving continuous improvement within our Global Supply Chain and Planning Organization. This position is vital in aligning procurement operations with the overarching goals and IT strategies of HoYoverse. The ideal candidate will be business-oriented and technologically proficient, capable of effective communication across all organizational levels, and adept at navigating a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities. This role serves global business needs and collaborates with teams across various regions.
- Identify optimal sources for goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness for business operations (including office supplies, IT equipment, and significant acquisitions like real estate).
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and other critical factors.
- Monitor and manage fixed asset inventory and employee needs to determine optimal ordering schedules.
- Oversee the internal purchase order approval process.
- Track estimated shipment dates and communicate updates to receiving and logistics teams as necessary.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and provide prompt, accurate responses to inquiries.
- Assist company operational sectors with material and inventory cost record-keeping and reporting on fixed assets.
- Manage the complete asset lifecycle, from acquisition to retirement, ensuring accurate tracking and data reconciliation.
- Undertake additional procurement and asset management duties as assigned.
- Facilitate order execution in collaboration with requisitioners.
- Provide administrative support related to employee services.
