As the Operations Quality Shift Leader, you will spearhead the Operations Quality organizational unit. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supervising the Operations Quality team in alignment with established objectives and KPIs.
- Identifying areas for improvement within your purview, providing expert consultation, and enhancing service delivery.
- Ensuring adherence to standards and governance while overseeing process execution.
- Leading direct reports effectively and planning team activities to address all operational stages and inquiries.
- Defining clear objectives, tasks, and responsibilities for your team members, while closely monitoring their performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Assessing training and development needs for direct reports, supporting their professional growth, and aiding in the application of new skills.
- Implementing strategies to boost team performance, organizational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, and personal development.
In this role, you will hold functional accountability for Operations Quality at the shift level, including the authority to halt production lines and product deliveries in cases of non-conformance until corrective actions are taken. You will oversee sorting activities to safeguard customer interests and manage quality issues escalated by production segments or reported by customers. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring solutions are effectively shared across all production facilities.
