About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Operations Lead to spearhead initiatives at the convergence of life sciences and advanced AI deployment. You will be responsible for driving outcomes across complex cross-functional projects, navigating periods of uncertainty and rapid transformation. You will manage one priority initiative from inception to completion while keeping the larger portfolio on track through clear prioritization, disciplined decision-making, and meticulous execution.
You will work in close collaboration with Product, Research, and Applied Evaluations to translate real-world insights into valuable product and model feedback. Your success will be measured by your ability to facilitate faster decision-making, minimize unexpected challenges, and ensure measurable progress on critical initiatives.
This position is based in San Francisco or New York, following a hybrid work model of three days in the office each week. We also provide relocation assistance for new hires. Occasional travel (up to 20%) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the operational flow across a portfolio of concurrent life sciences initiatives, ensuring alignment among Research, Product, FDE, GRC, and GTM teams regarding priorities and timelines.
Lead one priority initiative at a time, developing the strategic plan, driving execution across functions, and evaluating outcomes, while adapting focus as team priorities evolve.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive source of truth for stakeholders, detailing owners, milestones, decisions, risks, dependencies, and escalations across various workstreams.
Conduct portfolio planning and executive reporting, including light success metrics for each initiative and clear visibility into priorities, resource capacity, risks, and required decisions.
Enhance decision-making speed by structuring options, clarifying trade-offs, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring timely closure of decisions to maintain momentum in execution.
Collaborate closely with FDE, Research, and Applied Evaluations to convert field insights into evaluations and roadmap contributions that yield actionable product and model feedback.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in operations management or program leadership, particularly within life sciences or technology sectors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
Ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments, adapting quickly to change.
Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
