We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Oncology Account Executive to join our team in the Chicago South territory. This role requires residency within the designated area, which encompasses Chicago South, Naperville, DeKalb, Valparaiso, Michigan City, South Bend, and Elkhart.
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and sustaining strategic partnerships with Oncology departments and practices. You will engage with Oncologists, Hematologists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Executive personnel, Department heads, Managers, and various support staff to enhance education regarding the benefits and risks of our products, aligned with approved labels. Your focus will be on fostering new business ventures, optimizing resource utilization, and driving sales growth to achieve the sales objectives for assigned Oncology products and indications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and address customer needs through strong relationship management, providing critical market intelligence to inform compliant and innovative programs.
- Collaborate effectively with in-house and cross-franchise leaders to design and implement strategies that resonate with our customer base.
- Deliver compelling, on-label technical and scientific presentations utilizing approved data to demonstrate product benefits and risks, ultimately achieving sales targets.
- Serve as the primary U.S. commercial contact for targeted accounts, collaborating with AbbVie and co-promotion partners to ensure exceptional customer support.
- Develop, communicate, and regularly update strategic and tactical business plans for assigned accounts, facilitating physician training on the safe use of AbbVie’s products.
- Act as the key point of contact for each account, ensuring timely responses and coordination of support to meet customer needs.
- Participate actively in local clinician boards, societies, and other HCP meetings to strengthen our professional network.
