About the job
We are in search of a skilled neuroscientist/data scientist to join our team as a scientific partner to our Life Science clients, collaborating closely with pharmaceutical and biotech teams. In this engaging role, you will analyze clinical trial data and derive actionable insights utilizing Beacon’s cutting-edge devices and AI/ML models. Your contributions will be pivotal in translating intricate neural data into scientifically sound results that significantly influence drug development initiatives targeting neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders.
As a key member of Beacon’s Data Science Group, you will design and implement analyses on both real-world and clinical trial EEG data, leveraging your statistical, computational, and neuroscientific expertise. Collaboration with customer scientists, clinicians, and program leaders will be essential as you lead scientific discussions, present findings, and adapt strategies as studies progress.
You will serve as a vital link between our clients and Beacon’s internal teams. By thoroughly understanding client objectives, constraints, and feedback, you will help refine analytical methodologies, impact product and model development, and ensure our technology meets the evolving demands of clinical programs.
At Beacon, we believe that cultural and scientific progress is fostered by individuals who lead by example. We continually seek new team members whose work reflects innate curiosity, a preference for simplicity, composability, a self-service mindset, and, most importantly, a profound empathy for colleagues, stakeholders, users, and patients. We are committed to building a diverse team that creates robust systems and drives greater impact.
Our flexible asynchronous work practices guarantee an exceptional remote work experience, while we also maintain physical office locations in Boston, New York City, and Paris. Candidates situated in the United States are preferred to minimize logistical challenges and enhance time zone alignment with our teams and partners.
