The Network Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in both the operational and strategic aspects of nurturing and activating the Harvard Innovation Labs’ extensive network, which includes mentors, experts, operators, partners, and investors. This position is essential in fostering a dynamic, impactful ecosystem that connects students and alumni with the mentorship, expertise, and relationships necessary to propel their ventures forward.
In this role, the Specialist will enhance and manage the systems, processes, and stakeholder experiences that underpin this ecosystem. This includes recruiting and onboarding experts, devising engagement pathways, and facilitating seamless interactions between founders and the broader network. The position merges program management, relationship cultivation, and data-driven operations.
The ideal candidate will excel at the intersection of systems, relationships, and strategic planning—capable of creating structure, designing enriching experiences, identifying patterns, solving challenges, and adopting a service-oriented approach to support founders. The Network Engagement Specialist is a highly visible position that influences how founders access mentorship, expertise, and funding within the i-lab’s ecosystem.
Collaboration is key; the Specialist will work closely with colleagues in Programs, Operations, Marketing, Alumni Engagement, and Community teams to ensure the network aligns with organizational goals and offers measurable value to founders.
