About the Role
As xAI accelerates its growth with cutting-edge hardware aimed at unraveling the mysteries of the universe, we are seeking talented Network Development Engineers (NDEs) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in deploying or operating large-scale production Data Center or Backbone networks.
In this role, you will be responsible for the availability and deployment of production networks for 𝕏 and xAI, encompassing Data Center, Backbone networks, as well as our primary front and backend networks that train Grok and serve our customers in their inference processes. Deployment Engineers will oversee all planning and execution for both greenfield and brownfield network deployments, while Operations Engineers will focus on the timely resolution of network impairments across all layers, ensuring that Network hardware and capacity are restored swiftly. Participation in an on-call rotation and contributions to scaling and maintenance initiatives will be expected.
