Join the dedicated team at Valley Wide Movers as a Moving Estimator! We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. As a Moving Estimator, your role will involve meeting with clients, evaluating their moving needs, and providing precise estimates for both residential and commercial relocations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home, virtual, or telephone estimates for residential and commercial moves.
- Assess the volume, weight, packing requirements, and special handling needs of items.
- Generate accurate written estimates and clearly communicate pricing details to clients.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to secure sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations to ensure seamless scheduling of moves.
- Maintain CRM records and diligently follow up on leads.
- Identify potential challenges such as access issues, stairs, or oversized items.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Moving Estimator, particularly with Tariff & Smart Moving.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous sales experience in the moving industry is preferred.
- Ability to accurately evaluate furniture and household goods for volume assessment.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail-focused.
- Proficient in applying weight-based and hourly pricing methods.
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary plus commission and mileage reimbursement.
