About the Role:
Join our innovative team at pavago as a Mobile App Developer, tasked with creating, developing, and sustaining robust mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in native and/or cross-platform frameworks, demonstrate exceptional UI/UX design capabilities, and proficiently integrate APIs and backend services. As a Mobile App Developer, you will ensure that our mobile applications are responsive, efficient, secure, and aligned with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android, or cross-platform frameworks like React Native and Flutter.
- Create user interfaces that reflect Figma/Sketch designs, prioritizing responsiveness and accessibility.
- Integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs to facilitate data access and implement business logic.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop unit and UI tests utilizing XCTest, Espresso, or Jest.
- Ensure over 80% code coverage and incorporate test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve crashes, performance issues, and operating system compatibility challenges.
Release Management:
- Oversee app distribution via TestFlight, Google Play Console, or enterprise deployment methods.
- Draft release notes, manage versioning, and prepare metadata for app store submissions.
- Ensure adherence to Apple and Google app store guidelines.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track app performance and crash reports using tools like Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, and New Relic.
- Optimize applications for quick startup, reduced memory usage, and improved battery efficiency.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to refine feature specifications.
- Work closely with backend engineers on API definitions and integrations.
- Document code, workflows, and release processes to promote team knowledge sharing.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement secure storage solutions such as Keychain and Keystore.
- Safeguard APIs through authentication mechanisms like OAuth2 and JWT.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
