About the Role
As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Verkada, you will be instrumental in reshaping how businesses protect their environments in a privacy-conscious manner. Our innovative, cloud-based technology is transforming physical security across diverse sectors such as retail, education, manufacturing, professional services, and healthcare.
In this pivotal role, you will manage the complete sales process—from identifying prospects to conducting product demonstrations, forming partnerships, and closing sales. You will also spearhead account growth initiatives that contribute to your sales targets. This is an exceptional opportunity to take initiative, cultivate meaningful client relationships, and create a substantial impact.
We value a vibrant in-office culture; therefore, this position requires you to work onsite at our Sydney office five days a week.
Your Responsibilities
- Proactively source and secure new business to consistently surpass quarterly sales quotas.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle: prospecting, hosting online demonstrations, crafting proposals, and finalizing deals.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Verkada’s product offerings and their relevance in the market.
- Maintain a precise sales pipeline and provide expert-level forecasting.
- Achieve targets using a combination of outbound calls, emails, online demos, and trial offerings.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and channel partners.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers to facilitate seamless product launches and drive future business growth.
- Offer valuable market and customer insights to our product and engineering teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficient presentation skills with the capacity to advise and educate clients.
