This key commercial role is essential in identifying opportunities and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new merchants joining the Grab ecosystem.
About the Role
As a member of the GrabFood Commercial Malaysia team, you will be instrumental in establishing and nurturing relationships with F&B merchants to promote the adoption of Grab's innovative services. Reporting directly to the Sales Team Leader, you will collaborate with potential partners to execute acquisition strategies that align with Grab's overarching objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass sourcing high-value leads, managing the sales pipeline, and onboarding merchants onto platforms like Dine-Out Deals and Reservations. This position is based in Petaling Jaya and may require occasional travel to surrounding areas.
Your Key Responsibilities
Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify and establish partnerships with prominent F&B merchants to drive substantial growth for Grab's omnicommerce services.
- Engage with key market players through cold calling and networking to finalize deals.
- Assist in onboarding new merchants, ensuring a seamless integration into Grab's ecosystem and setting them up for success.
- Promote the usage of services such as Dine-Out Deals and Reservations.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Proactively source strategic F&B leads to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Regularly update the sales pipeline to ensure precise forecasting and achievement of goals.
- Exhibit expertise in managing an organized and current pipeline of opportunities, demonstrating understanding of processes and tracking workflows.
Strategy Execution & Market Insights
- Effectively implement acquisition strategies and initiatives to meet team and organizational objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry advancements, and competitor activities to provide valuable feedback and insights.
