About the job
At Protege, we are on a mission to address one of the most pressing challenges in artificial intelligence: the accessibility of high-quality training data. The current methods for acquiring this data are often cumbersome, prohibitively costly, and frequently result in setbacks. Our innovative platform enables the secure, efficient, and privacy-conscious exchange of AI training data.
Tackling the data dilemma in AI presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Supported by top-tier investors, we are already forging partnerships with some of the most ambitious teams in the AI space. The organization that excels in this endeavor is poised to become a leader in AI and technology.
We pride ourselves on being a nimble, fast-paced, and highly trusting group of innovators dedicated to achieving impactful results. Our culture is tailored for individuals who thrive in uncertain environments, take ownership of outcomes, and aspire to influence the future of data and AI.
The Role:
We are seeking a Media Partnerships Lead (EMEA) to enhance Protege’s network of content owners and bolster our licensing initiatives. This pivotal, relationship-focused role requires a deep understanding of the media landscape and a passion for integrating valuable content into the AI revolution.
You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing partnerships with rights holders across various content formats including audiovisual, audio-only, and more. You will champion Protege’s vision to potential partners, negotiate advantageous licensing agreements, and act as their trusted liaison as their content fuels transformative AI products.
This position is based in EMEA.
What You’ll Do:
Partnership Development
Discover and engage high-value content owners across diverse formats (video, audio, UGC, etc.) that align with Protege’s data and licensing objectives.
Develop and implement strategies to attract these partners and integrate them into the Protege ecosystem.
Manage the complete lifecycle of partnership development: sourcing, pitching, negotiating, and finalizing licensing agreements.
Contribute to team goals, supporting leadership and the content partnerships team in achieving ambitious objectives.
Relationship Management
Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with content partners, including studios, creators, media libraries, distributors, and producers.
Act as the long-term account lead for partners, overseeing usage, renewals, and strategic opportunities.
Provide education and support to partners to maximize their content's potential within the Protege platform.
