About This Role
As a Material Handler for the 2nd Shift at our Tulsa facility, you will be integral in maintaining the seamless flow of materials that support our innovative data center construction projects. Your responsibilities will involve the careful handling, movement, and preparation of materials within our plant, directly influencing our production objectives while ensuring a safe and orderly work environment. This full-time, hands-on role is crucial for our operational success.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2:30am
Your Key Responsibilities
Material Movement & Kitting: Efficiently load, unload, kit, and transport materials within the plant, yard, or designated work areas, ensuring timely delivery from storage to operational locations.
Forklift & Crane Operation: Skillfully operate industrial forklifts and/or overhead cranes to facilitate the loading, unloading, and transfer of materials and products, while securing attachments and effectively signaling crane operators for safe operations.
Packaging & Labeling: Accurately read Bills of Material or follow verbal instructions to prepare materials for production or shipment, including diligent packaging, tagging, and crate assembly to protect products.
Safety & Organization: Follow all safety protocols while lifting heavy items manually or with power hoists, and maintain a clean, organized workspace, including machinery and equipment, to foster a safe and efficient environment.
What You Bring
Material Handling Experience: Demonstrated ability to safely handle, load, unload, and transport materials within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on following instructions and documentation accurately to ensure smooth operations.
