DOF Canada is on the lookout for dedicated and professional individuals to fill the role of Master on Canadian Flagged Offshore Support Vessels. The position entails a 28-day rotation schedule. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing safety and environmental standards, ensuring risk assessments and mitigations are in place for all shipboard operations.
- Implementing company policies and the Safety Management System, guiding crew compliance, issuing clear directives, and reporting on system deficiencies.
- Ensuring adherence to Flag State, Classification Society, and local regulations that impact vessel operations.
- Managing, planning, and organizing all vessel activities while delegating responsibilities to the management team as appropriate.
- Maintaining planned maintenance schedules for all onboard equipment, systems, and safety apparatus.
- Verifying that all marine personnel possess the requisite qualifications and certifications, ensuring adequate orientation for new team members.
