Marketplace Executive/Manager
Location: High Wycombe with hybrid working options available.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
Role Overview:
As the Marketplace Manager, you will take charge of the daily operational performance across our third-party marketplaces. Reporting directly to the Head of eCommerce, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that product listings, order processing, fulfillment, and overall channel performance are optimized to provide a seamless customer experience and achieve strong commercial outcomes.
Your initial focus will be on platforms such as Reverb, eBay, and Amazon Seller Central, with an expectation to strategically evaluate, onboard, and scale additional marketplaces as our multichannel strategy evolves.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace Management:
- Take ownership of the operational efficiency of our third-party marketplace channels (Reverb, eBay, Amazon Seller Central).
- Ensure accurate product listings, competitive pricing, engaging content, and stock availability.
- Monitor compliance with marketplace policies and service-level agreements.
- Optimize workflows within marketplaces, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Analyze marketplace performance metrics and provide regular insights to the Head of eCommerce.
- Collaborate closely with marketplace Customer Success Managers to drive commercial growth.
- Work in tandem with our Key Account teams to effectively manage Amazon Seller Central (3P) and Amazon Vendor Central (1P) operations.
Marketplace Operations:
- Facilitate a smooth end-to-end direct-to-consumer order flow from purchase to fulfillment.
- Partner with Operations and Customer Support teams to resolve issues and enhance service levels.
- Identify and address friction points in customer journeys, implementing operational enhancements.
Expansion & Enablement:
- Assess new marketplace opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Lead the operational setup for new channels, including integrations, product listings, and workflow design.
- Create scalable processes and documentation to support future growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, D2C, and Customer Support to ensure consistency in product content across all third-party marketplace channels.
- Coordinate with Finance on marketplace fees, accuracy of reporting, and financial reconciliation.
- Support Marketing and Operations in demand planning and fulfillment efficiency.
