About The Role
We are on the lookout for a Marine Engineer to join our team for the upcoming season from March to October/November 2026, based in Broome, Western Australia. This role is critical for the maintenance and operational reliability of our marine assets, including vessels and pontoons. Candidates must be available for a flexible rotational roster at our pontoon in Talbot Bay, with scheduled days off in Broome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels and assets to ensure their seamless operation.
- Manage the upkeep of daily systems including generators, desalination units, sewage treatment plants, and outboard motors.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems issues.
- Actively participate in implementing preventive maintenance programs to optimize asset performance and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of maintenance activities through our digital asset management system (Helm).
- Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations and standards.
