About the Role:
We are seeking motivated Team Leaders with a degree or diploma in Pharmaceutical Science who are eager to launch their careers in a challenging and rewarding environment. Initially, this role will be offered on a rolling contract with the potential for permanent employment in the future. Your responsibilities will encompass detailed planning and execution of various activities within the manufacturing department, collaborating with other departments to achieve production targets while ensuring compliance with MHRA and cGMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage production personnel to achieve scheduled production targets.
- Support the Manager in conducting departmental training and routine activities.
- Review and verify documentation and processes in accordance with SOPs and MBRs before and during operations from raw material to finished product.
- Ensure machine line clearance according to SOP requirements.
- Conduct calibration of scales, balances, and other equipment at required intervals per SOPs.
- Prepare and regularly review SOPs pertinent to your assigned responsibilities.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and conduct standards for yourself, colleagues, and products.
- Utilize material handling equipment and techniques for efficient material and equipment movement.
- Follow SOPs and BMR instructions for all operational and cleaning activities.
- Review batch records thoroughly.
- Initiate CCP and CAPA in QAMS as necessary and maintain documentation in compliance with cGMP.
- Report any out-of-specification products, incidents, deviations, or accidents to the department head.
- Practice Good Documentation Practices and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Perform additional tasks in other areas or departments as directed by the department head.
About You:
- A minimum educational background in a Science discipline, specializing in Pharmaceutical Science.
- You possess excellent communication skills and are a proactive team player.
