As a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Tooling Design, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering tooling design support for all repair lines, which includes the creation of fixtures, gauges, and tooling.
- Reviewing and designing tools to ensure they meet repair documentation and quality standards.
- Collaborating with suppliers to oversee lead times, costs, and delivery schedules.
- Assisting in operator training, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participating in the industrialization of new products and capital expenditure projects.
- Implementing lean manufacturing principles to enhance process efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
