Join the innovative team at Appen as an Independent Contractor for Project Astra.
Project Astra is an exciting ongoing initiative aimed at enhancing real-time conversational AI technology. In this role, you will engage in meaningful conversations with a speech-to-speech AI model, critically assessing its performance in areas such as speech recognition accuracy, audio quality, conversational flow, and content relevance.
Your contribution will be vital in refining multilingual voice interactions, ensuring they are accurate, high-quality, and naturally flowing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in dialogues with a real-time speech-to-speech AI model
- Assess its performance based on defined criteria: speech recognition, audio quality, conversation flow, and content accuracy
- Deliver consistent and precise ratings according to project guidelines
- Complete tasks within assigned deadlines
- Each session will last approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
Key Requirements:
- Must be a native Mandarin Chinese speaker currently residing in Australia
- Proficient in English with strong grammar and localization skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer
This position is project-based through CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor.
