Key Responsibilities:
The Manager, Regulatory Operations and Tariffs will report directly to the Director of Law and Regulatory. This role is primarily focused on leading and managing tariff-related matters, including General Tariff Applications (GTA), Deferral Account Applications, and other pertinent regulatory issues such as industry trend analysis. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the development of General Tariff Applications and managing proceedings before the Alberta Utilities Commission.
- Project management and advisory on regulatory matters, including scope analysis, expert financial evidence development, scheduling, and managing cross-functional teams.
- Task assignment, progress monitoring, providing team feedback, document management, and final reporting.
- Serving as a witness on various regulatory financial tariff issues.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior management in the Law and Regulatory and Finance departments.
