Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Corporate/Company Law and be a qualified Company Secretary (CS) with a strong understanding of AML-CFT laws.A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in legal or Corporate Secretarial roles within the financial sector, including at least 2-3 years of managerial experience.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated analytical capabilities and sound judgment.Client-focused, highly organized, and detail-oriented.Cluster Client Delivery:Acquire functional knowledge of client agreements, Scope of Work (SOW), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) necessary for reviewing and preparing deliverables.Ensure the Indian Corporate Secretarial team has all requisite information and documents for deliverables, addressing any issues as needed.Monitor the consistency and quality of deliverables within the agreed timelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Manager in the Regulatory & Compliance department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our diverse client portfolios adhere to legal requirements and compliance standards. You will leverage your expertise in Corporate Secretarial and Company law, as well as AML-CFT regulations, to oversee the administrative and legal responsibilities for a variety of funds and corporate entities, including trusts and companies.
Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be essential as you manage inquiries related to the legal matters of holding companies. Building robust relationships with stakeholders across IQ-EQ will enable you to understand their needs and provide tailored, customer-focused solutions while fulfilling legal and contractual obligations.
Given the complexities of compliance and regulations, it is crucial for you to ensure adherence to KYC requirements by maintaining thorough client files that mitigate potential risks. You will also mentor junior team members, reviewing their work to foster their growth within the team.
If required, you will lead board and shareholders meetings, ensuring the accuracy of related minutes, agreements, and documentation, and act as a reference point for the Onboarding Team.
