The Procurement Governance & Intelligence (G&I) team at Grab is pivotal in shaping procurement policies, processes, and platforms globally. We engage in a variety of projects—short, medium, and long-term—aimed at streamlining operations, enhancing reporting capabilities, and maintaining robust policy frameworks. Our focus also includes authoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), improving platforms, and assessing new systems.
Explore the Role
As the Manager of Governance, Strategy & Risk, you will be a strategic partner within the Procurement G&I team, dedicated to advancing Source to Contract governance, risk management, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives across Grab's procurement function. Your role will involve translating procurement strategies into effective standards, policies, and playbooks while ensuring that risk and sustainability considerations are seamlessly integrated into daily operations.
You will report directly to the Head of Procurement G&I, collaborating on framework designs, process oversight, and supplier risk management, while also acting as a deputy on governance issues. In partnership with the Procurement Business Process & Systems lead, you will prioritize policy and risk content, ensuring they are effectively operationalized in Oracle Procurement and third-party risk management workflows.
This position is onsite and encompasses a regional scope across all Grab entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy & Playbook Development: Spearhead the creation and revision of procurement policies, playbooks, and decision frameworks that support category strategies.
- System Integration: Collaboratively design rule sets within Oracle tools (Sourcing, TPRM, Contracting) to ensure alignment with procurement policies.
- Risk & ESG Frameworks: Establish supplier segmentation and risk models, and develop ESG onboarding requirements and standard contract clauses in conjunction with Legal and Sustainability teams.
- Governance & Compliance Monitoring: Oversee governance dashboards, acting as the primary contact for policy inquiries and exception management.
- Change Management & Training: Facilitate training initiatives, refresh content, and empower stakeholders regarding new policies, systems, and processes.
- Performance Insights & Communication: Disseminate governance updates, conduct adoption surveys, and provide performance insights to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
- Strategic & Leadership Support: Serve as the deputy to the Head of Procurement G&I.
