Your Impact:
As the Operations Engineering Manager for the APAC region, you will lead a dynamic and high-performing team focused on achieving operational reliability, scaling our AI-enabled operations model, and empowering BizTech teams to concentrate on their core engineering tasks confidently. Your team will be responsible for triaging and resolving issues, proactively monitoring networks, systems, applications, and cloud services via our observability platform, while driving process excellence, developing automation, and implementing shift-left programs to alleviate operational burdens from engineering teams.
A Day in Your Role:
- Lead and nurture a high-performing team of Operations Engineers; establish goals, provide coaching, manage on-call duties, and plan for 24x7 coverage in alignment with global partners.
- Oversee operational execution, manage ticket queues and SLAs; drive continuous improvements in MTTA/MTTR; ensure meticulous triage, troubleshooting, and resolution for incidents and requests.
- Enhance observability: collaborate with the team to refine monitoring/logging practices, ensure alerts are actionable, and operationalize runbooks and standards.
- Lead regional incident management; uphold incident command quality, rigorously conduct postmortems, participate in After Action Reviews (AARs), and coordinate seamless handoffs.
- Promote Shift Left and operational readiness: standardize onboarding for new/changed services; develop training, documentation, and governance; quantify offload impact and service quality enhancements.
- Expand capabilities with automation and AIOps; partner on initiatives to minimize manual tasks and improve accuracy.
