Plusgrade is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated team focused on designing and operating the data infrastructure that supports our event-driven architecture, Machine Learning applications, and AI-powered products.
If you are passionate about empowering ML and data science teams to work with robust, scalable, and high-quality data products, and you have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing data engineering teams, we would love to meet you.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and operation of core data pipelines, feature stores, model serving integrations, and real-time streaming infrastructure that supports ML applications, ML Ops, and data science initiatives. You will collaborate closely with ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to ensure that data systems meet the requirements of production ML/AI applications—balancing data freshness, reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
You will also contribute to defining best practices in data engineering for event-driven architecture and ML use cases, promote the adoption of governance and compliance standards, and participate in shaping Plusgrade’s long-term data strategy. With a servant leadership approach and sound technical judgment, you will guide your team while collaborating with product and technical leaders to drive innovation throughout the organization.
This role reports to the VP of Data Engineering. The Data Engineering Product Intelligence team is at the heart of Plusgrade's product vision, and we take pride in building the foundations that power our most advanced AI experiences.
