The Manager of Corporate and Community Partnerships is a pivotal leader responsible for enhancing revenue generation through strategic stewardship, account management, and the thoughtful expansion of existing relationships within the Road Hockey portfolio.
This role is divided into approximately 75% focused on nurturing and expanding relationships with engaged sponsors, captains, and executive committee members, while the remaining 25% is dedicated to outreach and prospect development.
Success in this position requires a solid understanding of event production, marketing, peer-to-peer fundraising, and road hockey to ensure that corporate partners and teams thrive.
Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate and Community Partnerships, this high-visibility role is perfect for an individual eager to forge strategic partnerships, drive revenue growth, and significantly influence the future of large-scale fundraising events.
Account Management & Stewardship
- Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned corporate teams, sponsors, and executive committee members.
- Create customized stewardship and growth plans for top accounts.
- Identify opportunities for expansion with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with captains and influential leaders to facilitate introductions and recruit new team prospects.
- Develop robust renewal strategies and multi-year partnership growth plans.
- Offer strategic guidance to teams to maximize engagement and fundraising potential.
- Craft executive-level engagement strategies within partner organizations.
Revenue Growth & New Business Development
- Design and implement targeted strategies for recruiting new teams.
- Conduct outreach efforts focused on event growth priorities.
- Secure sponsorship investments and corporate support.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through to conversion.
- Achieve and surpass participation and revenue targets.
- Leverage networks and partner referrals to uncover new opportunities.
Peer-to-Peer Strategy, Event Marketing & Execution
- Gain expert knowledge of the Road Hockey program and peer-to-peer fundraising strategies.
