Key Responsibilities:
• Assess non-emergency work requests, define job scope, and inspect locations to ascertain requirements.
• Estimate labor hours, necessary skillsets, parts, materials, equipment, and any specialized tools essential for completing proactive jobs safely and efficiently.
• Collect relevant technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, specifications, and spare parts lists from equipment histories and OEM manuals. Confirm part availability before scheduling tasks. Arrange for special tools and auxiliary equipment as needed.
• Maintain an organized and prioritized work order backlog, ensuring the Ready Backlog is at or above 80%.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to update Job Plans, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct weekly planning and scheduling sessions with Production to establish work order priorities, communicate status updates, and adjust maintenance activities as necessary.
• Develop a Weekly Technician Schedule that incorporates priority planned jobs and preventative maintenance tasks, fully utilizing available technician labor hours.
• Enhance work order planning and scheduling effectiveness via a review process and maintenance metrics analysis.
• Keep accurate records and files crucial for effective analysis and reporting on maintenance issues.
• Provide training to site employees on CMMS, ensuring proper functionality and utilization.
