Your role in driving innovation:
- Define essential equipment and process specifications to ensure compliance with Bosch standards and automotive industry benchmarks;
- Install, validate, and enhance new processes and equipment on assembly lines, including necessary layout adaptations;
- Establish methodologies for conducting process capability studies;
- Oversee pre-acceptance and final acceptance testing of equipment with suppliers, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and Bosch policies;
- Apply Yokoten practices to foster knowledge sharing and standardization within your domain;
- Collaborate in product development phases to assure the stability and robustness of processes for both new and existing products;
- Work in tandem with product development teams to integrate process improvements and changes;
- Lead the creation and upkeep of standard PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify and address potential failure modes;
- Maintain process stability through the development and management of standard Control Plans;
- Identify opportunities for equipment performance enhancements and develop creative solutions to boost quality and efficiency;
- Utilize KPIs (OEE, FPY, IRR, IDC, etc.) and statistical data to monitor process performance and define continuous improvement actions;
- Provide training to maintenance and production teams regarding the processes you oversee;
- Actively participate in the global process community (CN Team), contributing to the sharing and development of new and existing technologies;
- Lead and engage in problem-solving initiatives and task forces related to assembly processes.
