Here’s how you can make an impact:
We are seeking a motivated Hub Manager for our hub in Ghent, with exceptional people skills and leadership experience in logistics. This hub is where our drivers depart daily to deliver meal boxes to customers, representing the final and crucial link in our supply chain.
As Hub Manager, you will ensure that operations run safely, efficiently, and with a customer-centric approach. You will combine a keen eye for processes with natural leadership: motivating where possible and setting boundaries where necessary. You know how to energize a team, but you are also comfortable having challenging conversations.
Additionally, you will act as a strategist, continuously improving processes, monitoring financial and personnel KPIs, and keeping a close eye on hub performance. This ensures that the hub performs well today while being prepared for future growth.
Your responsibilities include:
- Daily management of hub operations;
- Leading, coaching, and motivating team leaders and drivers;
- Monitoring the performance of the hub, including KPI and results;
- Creating a safe, efficient, and professional work environment;
- Overseeing the fleet and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations;
- Maintaining quality assurance, KPIs, and continuous process improvement;
- Managing absenteeism, performance evaluations, and personnel development;
- Developing and tracking schedules and plans.
What you bring to the team:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the logistics sector, with demonstrable leadership experience;
- Strong people skills: You have a natural ability to connect with others;
