We are excited to invite skilled lighting artists to join us for several forthcoming projects! As an experienced lighting artist, you will be responsible for taking environments from concept to completion while effectively collaborating with various disciplines throughout the project. In return, you will join a seasoned and supportive team working on a range of AAA titles!
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Artistic Lighting: Designing, positioning, and adjusting light sources to create the desired mood and atmosphere across diverse environmental settings.
- Technical Implementation: Configuring lighting rigs, managing light bakes, optimizing performance, and working with volumetric lighting.
- Collaboration: Partnering with level designers and environmental artists to guide player experience and highlight key areas, ensuring visual consistency.
- Self-Management: Identifying project needs and clearly communicating them to leads and managers.
- Post-Processing: Utilizing color grading, bloom, and other effects to elevate the final visual output.
- Performance Optimization: Maintaining high visual quality within the technical constraints of target hardware.
Your Qualifications:
- A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing recent work that demonstrates your expertise in lighting for video games (submission required for consideration).
- Over 2 years of professional experience as a Lighting Artist in the video game industry.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with proprietary engines.
