Position Overview:
The Licensing Manager at Oklo will leverage their expertise in nuclear regulations to enhance engineering developments that align with necessary licensing requirements. This role involves close collaboration with design engineers, ensuring a thorough understanding and interpretation of our design basis to meet U.S. nuclear regulatory standards. The Licensing Manager will play a pivotal role in crafting documentation that supports both pre-application procedures and the submission/review process for license applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive licensing documents, programs, and related materials for Oklo’s reactor technologies.
- Plan, organize, and execute intricate assignments within a collaborative team environment.
- Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables pertaining to licensing activities, including document submissions and associated schedules.
- Contribute to the development of engineering and licensing requirements for nuclear systems and components through collaborative engagements with various engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate with design engineers to review technical documentation, ensuring compliance of new designs and modifications with regulatory mandates.
