Licensed Mental Health Therapist – Contractor at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health

Your Role
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in patient care by fostering strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based services. You will facilitate therapy groups, conduct individual and family sessions, and develop integrated treatment plans as part of our innovative programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults enrolled in our OTP program.
- Work collaboratively on-site at our Brooklyn, MD location.
- Create and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and level-of-care evaluations.
- Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment strategies, and symptom management to promote empowerment.
- Design and lead engaging psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation and mental wellness.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, PRP staff, and fellow therapists to ensure integrated mental health care.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
- Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellent patient care, as measured by outcomes such as patient retention and program completion.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
You are a compassionate and clinically proficient therapist who values empathy and accountability.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health treatment.
- A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field.
