The Leasing Administrator for Housing and Leasing serves as the main point of contact for housing and leasing inquiries from Harvard University affiliates. This role is crucial in advancing Harvard University's commitment to fostering vibrant campus neighborhoods, ensuring financial responsibility, implementing innovative sustainability practices, and adapting to future institutional needs. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Housing and Leasing Services, this position is integral to the success of Harvard University Housing (HUH).
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Provide timely and accurate responses to customer and resident inquiries regarding housing and leasing information via telephone, email, and in-person communication.
- Engage in follow-up and conflict resolution with applicants and residents as needed through various communication channels.
- Review, verify, and process resident sublet requests for HUH.
- Authorize sublet postings on the HUH off-campus housing website while ensuring compliance with policies and monitoring unauthorized advertisements.
- Maintain a log of leases submitted by applicants, including copying and filing as required.
- Organize and archive lease documents as necessary.
- Support Leasing Coordinators and Application and Leasing Coordinator during high-volume periods.
- Contribute to projects and assist in training new employees or colleagues.
- Review and help revise Harvard University Housing Policies & Procedures.
- Participate in admit days and open houses to promote Harvard University Housing.
- Engage in committee and subgroup collaboration meetings.
Systems Support
- Manage tenant accounts within the Yardi leasing database.
- Process leasing-related documents using Yardi (Voyager, Café, SiteManager), DocuSign, and other relevant systems.
Additional Support
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Perform related duties as necessary.
