Lead Supervising Social Worker - Education and Orientation
Salary Range: $75,518 - $90,621
Join Golden Gate Regional Center (GGRC) as a Lead Supervising Social Worker within our Education and Orientation unit. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a dedicated team of Social Workers, ensuring effective supervision, administrative support, and case management for our clients. Your focus will be on serving underserved communities, managing four (4) caseloads of 1:40, and collaborating with the Director of Regional Center Services to create innovative case management materials and curricula tailored to our specialized service delivery needs.
This hybrid position allows flexibility, enabling you to work from any of our three offices located in San Francisco, San Mateo, or San Rafael, as well as from your home. Travel across the counties of San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin is a requirement, and access to reliable transportation is essential. Occasional statewide travel may also be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision
- Lead and mentor assigned staff, ensuring optimal use of time and resources
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of Social Workers
- Represent GGRC on various internal and community committees
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures
- Provide coaching, monitor performance, and conduct annual evaluations
- Ensure compliance by reviewing and approving necessary documentation
- Act as administrative support to the Manager of Regional Center Services
- Supervise social workers in client assessments and case planning
- Compile monthly statistical reports
- Oversee documentation created by team members
- Fulfill Supervisor of the Day responsibilities as required
- Provide backup support to Social Workers as necessary
- Join the Supervisory On-Call rotation on a voluntary basis
- Engage in special projects and additional duties as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA and the California Lanterman Act
- Assess annual Purchase of Service utilization rates with the Community Services Division
- Collaborate with the Community Outreach Unit to evaluate service needs for individuals with low or no Purchase of Service
