Role Overview
As the Lead Product Marketing Manager for Pricing and Packaging, you will serve as the vital link between GitLab's pricing strategy and sales execution. Your role involves translating our pricing and packaging framework into engaging narratives and actionable resources that empower sales teams to confidently articulate value, suggest optimal options, and manage pricing discussions with prospects, partners, and customers.
Your primary objective will be to alleviate the challenges that pricing inquiries present in the field. You will craft playbooks, messaging frameworks, tier differentiation guidance, objection handling, and value quantification tools that simplify pricing changes and enhance sales across self-serve, sales-assisted, and enterprise segments.
Collaboration will be key as you work closely with product management, sales leadership, finance, revenue operations, and other Product Marketing Managers to grasp pricing updates, collect feedback on challenges, and transform pricing modifications into clear customer-facing value propositions and internal guidance.
In your first year, you will develop comprehensive pricing enablement that minimizes sales inquiries and deal-cycle friction, and create competitive analysis tools that help position GitLab effectively in the market.
