Daily Responsibilities of a Principal Privacy Consultant
Design and implement comprehensive privacy programs tailored to client needs.
Offer specialized and customized advice reflecting the latest Belgian SA decisions and regulations.
Assist clients in applying privacy principles by design and by default within their operations.
Evaluate and modify client data processing practices to guarantee compliance.
Conduct in-depth privacy audits and update improvement roadmaps regularly.
Create high-quality documentation for diverse stakeholders, from management to C-level executives.
Lead responses to data breach incidents and foster awareness within organizations.
Identify areas for enhancing client services and outcomes.
Maintain effective communication with regulatory authorities and represent CRANIUM with professionalism.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and sustain privacy roadmaps and strategies for clients.
Provide individualized regulatory advice based on ongoing legal changes.
Conduct and adapt Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) as needed.
Map data flows and establish robust data governance practices.
Deliver privacy training and awareness initiatives across client organizations.
Manage third-party vendor assessments to ensure Data Processing Agreement (DPA) compliance.
Oversee incident response management related to data breaches and formulate incident response plans.
Generate detailed documentation and reports, ensuring accountability under GDPR.
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and departments to achieve organizational goals.
Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Manage complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time.
