What We Do
The Community team acts as a voice for the diverse and vibrant development community. We are dedicated to inspiring, supporting, and advocating for our creators while promoting the powerful tools and services offered by Epic.
Your Role
We are seeking a passionate Lead Community Manager to nurture and expand our developer community for Unreal Engine, Fortnite creators, and Fab. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in game engines and user-generated content (UGC), with a particular focus on Unreal Engine and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
In this role, you will
- Foster engaging and supportive conversations within the community, staying informed about the latest trends in Unreal Engine and Fortnite.
- Oversee our Epic Developer Community Forums, Discord Channels, Twitch, and YouTube, actively monitoring and participating in discussions.
- Develop and expand self-sustaining community initiatives.
- Create and evaluate community sentiment reports, identifying key issues and escalating them as necessary.
- Collaborate with various teams across Epic Games to share community analytics, insights, and feedback.
- Coordinate weekly livestreams and other events like AMAs, game jams, and challenges with the community team.
- Ensure a vibrant and welcoming community atmosphere by making our platforms engaging and informative, encouraging contributions through tutorials, creations, and rewarding exceptional community members.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in Community Management or similar fields, preferably within gaming or technology sectors.
