The Product Data Science team at Waymo collaborates with Engineering, Product, and Operations to make data-driven decisions that propel our mission forward. Our projects span quality assurance, operational efficiency, market analysis, and rider satisfaction metrics, ensuring that we scale the Waymo Driver safely and effectively. We thrive on curiosity, adaptability, and an open-minded approach to evolving data landscapes.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and reports directly to the Director of Product Data Science.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Business Intelligence Analysts, ensuring successful and timely project deliveries through resource coordination and hands-on leadership.
- Oversee the development and upkeep of data pipelines, dashboard design, and critical data analyses for high-priority projects, maintaining a high technical standard.
- Serve as the go-to subject matter expert, playing a key role in enhancing our business intelligence infrastructure and influencing best practices across the organization.
- Build a broad network within the company to uncover new opportunities and aid in project prioritization, ensuring optimal resource deployment.
- Develop project roadmaps, set long-term goals, and exemplify the Waymo Way behaviors, particularly when tackling technical and organizational challenges.
