This position is based in Pomona, California, with a Hybrid-Remote work arrangement (in-office or field work on Tuesday and Wednesday).
JOB OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking candidates with 1 or more years of experience to support electrical infrastructure projects for one of the largest utilities in Southern California. This role allows flexibility to work from home three days a week, with required office attendance in Pomona for two days weekly.
As a Junior Project Controls Estimator, you will be instrumental in the estimation process for projects of varying sizes. You will collaborate closely with the Project Controls team, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather essential data and create precise cost estimates.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the collection and analysis of project scope and cost data.
- Supporting the development of project cost estimates based on historical data and industry benchmarks.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to review and validate cost estimates.
- Preparing and maintaining documentation related to cost estimates.
- Assisting with risk analysis and contingency planning.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of estimation methodologies.
