Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 18 Month Fixed Term Contract
Reports to: Business Systems Manager & Data Engineer
Location: Harlow, Essex. This location is easily accessible from London Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale Station. We provide a complimentary minibus service to/from Harlow Town Train Station, as well as free parking and EV charging on-site.
Extra Information: We are open to discussions regarding hybrid, flexible, and compressed working arrangements. Team members typically work 2 days per week from home.
About the Role:
Join our SCRUM team as a vital contributor to the Eric Bana programme—our innovative enterprise Microsoft technology platform. You will take ownership of assigned development tasks across Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power Platform, Power Pages, Power Apps, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
This role presents a unique opportunity to engage in strategic, business-critical components of our digital transformation. You will be responsible for developing production-ready features, supporting complex integrations, and contributing to our engineering standards, data modeling practices, and platform governance.
This position is particularly well-suited for an ambitious early-career developer eager for accelerated growth within a modern, enterprise-grade Microsoft ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Platform Development & Technical Ownership
- Act as the lead developer for assigned CRM, Power Platform, or Fabric backlog items, ensuring the delivery of production-ready components.
- Own and enhance specified Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM modules, including entities, forms, business rules, and plug-ins as necessary.
- Create and maintain robust Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) with an emphasis on performance, maintainability, and secure design.
- Develop and support Power Pages, incorporating authentication, reusable components, and custom JavaScript as required.
- Design reusable components, connectors, templates, and accelerators to promote platform-wide standardization.
2. Integration & Advanced Technical Work
- Assist with integration efforts across Dataverse, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions, focusing on data flows, plug-in behavior, and API usage.
- Utilize advanced Power Fx, JavaScript, C#, or KQL as needed to fulfill functional and non-functional requirements.
3. Data Engineering, Fabric & Reporting
- Lead designated data engineering initiatives within Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows, Lakehouse modeling, and semantic model development.
- Create enterprise-grade Power BI models and datasets that adhere to best practices in performance, governance, and data quality.
