Barbaricum is seeking a Junior Intelligence Analyst to provide analytical support to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client. The analyst will assist the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office as part of the Information Analysis Directorate and the Strategy, Plans, and Policy Directorate, which aims to bolster the Department’s capacity to prevent terrorists and other threat actors from deploying weapons of mass destruction.
The CWMD Office coordinates federal initiatives and formulates strategies and policies to prepare for, detect, and safeguard against the unauthorized importation, possession, development, or usage of hazardous chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) materials and devices within the United States.
The Role:
The Junior Intelligence Analyst will engage in WMD threat analysis and production efforts under the supervision of senior analysts. This position will contribute to the creation of analytical products that inform DHS leadership, various DHS components, and federal, state, and local homeland security partners about emerging WMD threats and strategies for mitigation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of WMD and CBRN-related threats to support homeland security initiatives.
- Assist in the production of analytical reports and assessments.
