Join our dynamic IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team at SanDisk as an enthusiastic intern. This internship is designed for final-year Bachelor's degree students, providing an excellent platform for hands-on experience in the design, development, testing, and support of software automation applications that enhance manufacturing and business operations.
Working alongside seasoned IT professionals, you will analyze user requirements, develop scalable and reusable solutions, and assist in daily system operations. Gain exposure to Microsoft .NET (C#), Oracle databases, and modern data exchange technologies, all within a structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment. Your contributions will directly impact initiatives aimed at improving quality, yield, cost, utilization, and cycle time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications to fulfill specified business and operational needs.
- Collaborate with IT team members and stakeholders to gather user requirements, conduct basic analyses, and recommend effective technical solutions that prioritize reusability, scalability, simplicity, and standardization.
- Support daily operations by investigating system issues, participating in root cause analysis, and implementing preventive actions through IT solutions.
- Adhere to established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, ensuring all activities are documented and executed according to specifications.
- Contribute to production support and key initiatives that align with organizational goals related to quality, yield, cost, utilization, and cycle time.
- Engage in defining, constructing, implementing, and supporting IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES) satellite systems with guidance from senior engineers.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations as necessary to support development and operational tasks.
- Continuously enhance technical skills and domain knowledge while adhering to IT standards, policies, and best practices.
