Barbaricum is in search of a skilled Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Instructor to support the United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) as a JTAC Instructor / Simulator Operator.
This role is centered on delivering comprehensive JTAC training to Special Tactics Squadron (STS) personnel while facilitating training using Close Air Support (CAS) simulators within Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) environments. Previous experience with CAS simulators is advantageous but not mandatory, as all necessary simulator training will be provided post-hire.
This position includes relocation assistance and eligibility for bonuses after the successful completion of the onboarding period. Candidates must be adaptable to working in expeditionary settings and high-tempo training environments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct JTAC, JTAC-I, and JTAC-SEE instruction in classroom, field, and simulator environments.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulator systems including JTC-TRS and other provided systems.
- Monitor and document JTAC progression through training records and qualification folders.
