The Opportunity
Job classification: P2018 - PC Support Specialist
# of positions: 2
Salary range: $62,000-$65,000. Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity.
Hours per week: 37.5
Paid leave: 4 Weeks Vacation / 14 Flex Days per year

The ITS Hardware Technician is responsible for overseeing the intake, disposal, and inventory management of all computer and audiovisual equipment used in Academic Technology. Effective lifecycle management of technology is crucial for ensuring a positive classroom experience, minimizing equipment failures and service disruptions, and providing other technical teams with readily available tools. The successful candidate will adhere to established internal processes to comply with asset reporting requirements and will manage over 6,500 pieces of equipment annually. Given the volume of equipment, a safety-first approach and a strong understanding of asset value are essential to protect resources, reduce business risks, and maintain the institution's reputation.
