About NODA
NODA is a veteran-owned, venture-backed technology firm revolutionizing the collaboration of unmanned systems in complex, mission-critical scenarios. Our innovative distributed orchestration platform facilitates the autonomous coordination of diverse unmanned systems across various domains, including air, sea, land, and space, with essential applications in defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors.
As we transition to an office-centric environment and expand our Department of Defense initiatives, the need for secure and dependable internal information technology has become a vital operational capability.
Role Overview
In the position of IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining NODA's corporate IT infrastructure, including endpoint management, identity and access management, onboarding/offboarding processes, collaboration tools, and baseline security controls, notably supporting CMMC compliance. Your efforts will ensure that each engineer is equipped for productivity from day one, that all devices adhere to compliance standards, and that our internal systems align with government customer expectations and security frameworks. Collaborating closely with Engineering and DevSecOps, you will align device posture, identity controls, and audit evidence with our security and compliance mandates.
This role is integral to NODA's goal of scaling DoD contracts while maintaining a robust compliance posture. We seek a hands-on operator capable of swift action in a startup environment, who can also establish repeatable, auditable processes for our expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete lifecycle of endpoints for macOS (using Jamf) and Windows, including provisioning, patching, encryption, compliance baselines, and inventory tracking.
Oversee identity and access management tasks, including Microsoft 365 administration, account provisioning and deprovisioning, group management, licensing, role-based access controls, and multi-factor authentication.
Develop and execute onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring laptop setup, account access, least-privilege permissions, and day-one readiness.
Administer essential IT services including email and collaboration tools, file access, virtual private network (VPN), office Wi-Fi, device certificates, and basic network administration for the office.
