As the IT & Security Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing internal IT operations, enhancing our cybersecurity framework, supporting cloud infrastructure, and ensuring our organization is prepared for future audits and compliance requirements. This pivotal role guarantees a secure, stable, and scalable technology ecosystem that caters to both employees and customer-facing services.
To align with organizational goals, your responsibilities will be categorized into three primary areas:
1. IT Operations Management
- Configure, manage, and monitor the office network, server room, switches, firewalls, and end-user devices.
- Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments, including user lifecycle management and migration projects.
- Lead the transition from BYOD to company-issued devices, enhancing endpoint consistency and security.
- Provide hands-on IT support to employees and assist customers when necessary.
- Manage office hardware, including laptops, printers, conferencing systems, video walls, and critical operational equipment.
- Oversee vendor relationships, IT procurement, asset management, and licensing to control costs and ensure compliance.
- Develop IT documentation, standard operating procedures, and support resources for internal users.
2. Security & Compliance
- Maintain ISO 27001 compliance using the Vanta platform; update policies, track evidence, and support internal audits.
- Deploy, maintain, and monitor endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions and related cybersecurity tools.
- Manage access control systems, multi-factor authentication, account provisioning, and security configurations across cloud and SaaS platforms.
- Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Support IT General Controls readiness for future SOC 2 / SOX or audit activities by documenting processes, collecting evidence, and partnering with both internal and external auditors as needed.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to enhancing the company’s IT and security governance practices.
3. Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Support
- Manage and optimize Azure/AWS infrastructure and cloud storage for scalability, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Support engineering and operations teams by providing cloud solutions for customer-facing products and internal services.
- Monitor cloud performance, cost trends, and usage patterns, providing regular reporting and recommendations to leadership.
