Key Responsibilities
As an IT Risk & Security Specialist, you will oversee information security and system risk management for Mercoin, contributing to the enhancement of governance and compliance across the entire group. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement strategies aimed at increasing internal awareness and lead the formulation and execution of policies and processes.
- Formulate strategies and establish frameworks for information security and system risk management.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies while continuously monitoring system risks.
- Design and improve processes related to information security and system risk management.
- Plan and execute internal education and awareness initiatives regarding information security.
- Support various financial projects from an information security and system risk management perspective.
- Manage incidents, analyze and report system failures, and lead responses to security incidents.
- Ensure rigorous security management for external vendors and services.
- Facilitate audits and inspections related to information security smoothly.
Additionally, you may take on compliance-related tasks as needed.

- Strengthen GRC management from a business perspective across the fintech sector and the broader Mercari group.
