Our collaboration with police departments and municipalities across North America, the Asia Pacific, and Europe allows us to implement advanced safety camera systems, including those for red-light enforcement, speed monitoring, and school bus stop arm cameras. We also manage tolling transactions and violations for the largest commercial fleets and rental car companies worldwide, overseeing operations for over 8.5 million vehicles and processing nearly 165 million transactions annually for more than 50 tolling authorities.
Position Overview:
The IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee and ensure the effective operation of Verra Mobility's IT infrastructure and services throughout Europe. This includes managing IT personnel tasked with monitoring, diagnosing, and optimizing system and network performance, as well as spearheading cloud infrastructure initiatives. This position reports directly to the VP of IT Infrastructure and collaborates closely with local client support and corporate IT teams to enhance business and client satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Lead the provision of services and support for regional client infrastructure.
· Design and implement a robust IT support model tailored for the European client base.
· Serve as Service Delivery Manager for Client Infrastructure within the EU.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define business and client infrastructure requirements for product and service deployments.
· Optimize the utilization of IT resources, including personnel and equipment, across the region.
· Develop and manage resource planning, encompassing full-time staff, contractors, and managed service offerings for the IT function.
· Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate success and identify focus areas for the support organization.
· Formulate and enforce policies and procedures, including regional standards, purchasing, and service provisioning.
Acquisition & Deployment:
· Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrading, and support of IT systems, including servers, storage, backups, networks, and data centers.
